Poems for Young Readers Partner PoetsHow to submit?
We would love for you to contribute short/long poems for young readers in your mother tongue for the MTT Poetry Corner. These can be created (preferred), translated (into the mother tongue) or curated by you – i.e. you can either write in your own language, translate into your own language from any other language or recommend poem(s) for young readers by a writer you know or have grown up reading.
You can choose to write in English, but these poems must be rooted in your Indian experience, and reflect the sounds and rhythms of your ‘mother tongue’. You can send me your submissions in your language and script – it would be ideal if you include an English translation (optional), but an English title and short description is a must!
